While visiting Amsterdam in 2011, Madame Tussauds as part of itinerary was not a priority. It was in the list under 'just-in-case-we-still-have-time-to-spare'. Apparently, time was limited and we never set foot inside Madame Tussauds, which was fine with me.
An opportunity recently came in the form of a three-day weekend. Though, we've been meaning to visit Madame Tussauds Tokyo last year, it only happened that Saturday because it felt just the right time.

Lione Messi. Yay, he is not that tall at all.  |

At Abbey Road with the Beatles. Sorry Paul, George Harrison is the most handsome. |

I am impressed how they got 98% of the wax statues and Julia Roberts right. Though this looks like she just had botox. |

Sharing breakfast with Holly Golightly Audrey Hepburn. Her wax figure and George Clooney's look odd. Almost there but something's not right. This Audrey looks too masculine. |
There's Brangelina and others, and notably a group of young boys who call themselves as One Direction. (As if they are not that popular, lol!) The queue was long and besides, I really am not a fan. But I am quite surprised that they are a huge hit here.
Overall, it was nice as I expected. Better than the
63 Wax museum in Yeouido, South Korea.
