Café de Ropé La mer shares an entrance with Le Jun (a clothing and lifestyle store) inside the Grand mall of Aeon mall Makuhari.
Again, I have a certain weakness for pretty interiors (Don't we all?). Blue, white and wood blend well.
We were seated in one of its circle seating area.
The appetizer: Caesar Salad. The cutting of lettuce was left to our decision. I don't know what it's called but those crispy and salty cracker toppings are delicious. I can't get enough of it.
Ahhh. I have a penchant for coasters. Actually, in the process of collecting, mostly the rubber type. But this one is cardboard paper and would certainly make good use as a bookmark. Alas! I brought it home.
Seafood curry. Surprisingly, not what I expected. I never thought coconut milk could bring some factor into its taste. I had reservations for all curry (except Japanese curry) but this certainly added to my exceptions.
Typical fried chicken with fries (or vice versa). The fries were less salty making it suitable for kids.
Dessert: Tiramisu. Huge serving good for two people.
Dessert: Creme Brulee.
Just sharing this cute photo of Amber. Now nearing 2 years old.
