Again, Pacing around Seoul

Last Friday, for the first time, I decided to wander around Seoul -- alone. Since Seoul differs not much to Tokyo, I decided to saunter at places that makes it different from the former (or from the rest of the world). Places that remind us of its history.

Museums, anyone?

Wishing for a sunny weather the day before (Thursday), I'm glad the stars worked for my advantage.

FRIDAY.
Gyeongbokgung Palace, National Folk Museum of Korea, and Insa-dongAnd that SATURDAY, T took me to Seoul Tower.
SUNDAY. War Memorial of Korea. To think that almost 60 years have passed since the Korean war broke (1950) and from what we hear from media, the North seems to show no interest of re-unification; it amazes me that up to now, South Korea remains positive and incessantly, reaches out to them.

On the other note, I will be going back to JP tomorrow. =(
Never thought I'd miss the office. The routine.

That's the first time I've heard about the Korean War after leaving junior college history like two years ago. =p

AWW!!! I miss Seoul so much! N Tower at night in Itaewon is one of the most breath taking things I've ever seen. If you have time, you should definitely do a sunset Han River cruise. My friends and I did the last night we were in Seoul and it was a great way to round off a great trip! I hope you're loving it as much as I did!

@Nashe, Back in my school days, we never got to tackle about this subject. Much of the info I got (before I visited the War Memorial) was from their Folk museum, and Wiki.

@Cheryl, You should girl!

@Casey, We did. My husband and I went cruising around Han River. Quite a long ride, I must say. I think it took around an hour.

@Nityamonto, Yup. Korea, like any other country, is beautiful.

@ChinkyMel, Yah, My husband and I were just playing around with poses. Glad, we're not the only ones.

@Andhari, you've been to quite a lot. Good for you!

@ko0ty, Reading Korea's history and how they've come to division intrigued me since. With the latest headline of the world, I don't think Korea will be unified anytime sooner (or ever?).

@Yumeko, yup! I'm back.
