Staycation - Radisson Blu Cebu

Let it be known that I enjoy hotel hopping, especially just around Cebu, for experience and as a way of helping out the local tourism industry. Other than that, as locals, we get to enjoy it at less cost. So I have made it my mantra to stay at many hotels as possible to collect keycards =P

We spent our Christmas at Radisson Blu Cebu. It is located just beside SM City Cebu so it's not as I would categorize as a resort hotel. As expected, the rooms are nice. Clean carpets, spacious bath & toilet, flatscreen TV at the wall and a study desk..

Furniture and fixtures look simple and classy. That's the fridge disguised as a cabinet at the right.

On Christmas eve, we drank Margaritas while viewing the skyline filled with fireworks.

Though there were a lot of food to choose from, the buffet breakfast was so-so.  I was disappointed by the danggit because it tasted too salty and brittle.

After breakfast, we took Amber to get reacquainted with the pool. She was hesitant at first and even refused to let go until, eventually, she enjoyed the water.

While under construction during my high school years, rumor has it that it would become Sheraton hotel. Construction was suspended for reasons unknown to me (i was told due to management issue), it was left unfinished and a complete waste for many years. Yes, for many years it looked haunted until it was saved and became Radisson Blu.
